A Victorian Wedding

What good fortune it is that you chose to visit us today. As you can see, we've been invited to a wedding and we'd be delighted to have you join us on this happy occasion. My brother's daughter, Caroline, is to wed her beloved Edward Darcy.

After months of planning, the day has finally arrived. It's the day her mother has prepared her for from the moment Caroline was born. A Victorian girl has no other dream or ambition. It is her destiny to marry, and marry well.

As with weddings in your century, Victorian weddings are steeped in ancient traditions. Come along with us and see the Victorian wedding as it unfolds.
