Follow the guidelines below and have a safe and happy halloween.
| Make sure children can see clearly through their masks. | |
| Give and/or accept wrapped/packaged candy only. | |
| Accompany young children; send older children out in groups. | |
| Examine treats before allowing your children to eat them. | |
| Go out in the daylight if possible; take a flashlight for when it gets dark. | |
| Stay within the neighborhood and visit only houses of people you know. | |
| Watch out for traffic and cross only at crosswalks. | |
| Make certain that costume is flame resistant. | |
| Carry only flexible props. | |
| Stay away from and don't try to pet animals you don't know. | |
| Stay on sidewalks. If no sidewalk, walk on the left side of road facing traffic. | |
| Wear clothing with reflective markings or tape. |
Better still, throw a neighborhood Halloween party in your
home.
