Follow the guidelines below and have a safe and happy halloween.

	Make sure children can see clearly through their masks.
	Give and/or accept wrapped/packaged candy only.
	Accompany young children; send older children out in groups.
	Examine treats before allowing your children to eat them.
	Go out in the daylight if possible; take a flashlight for when it gets dark.
	Stay within the neighborhood and visit only houses of people you know.
	Watch out for traffic and cross only at crosswalks.
	Make certain that costume is flame resistant.
	Carry only flexible props.
	Stay away from and don't try to pet animals you don't know.
	Stay on sidewalks. If no sidewalk, walk on the left side of road facing traffic.
	Wear clothing with reflective markings or tape.

Better still, throw a neighborhood Halloween party in your home.
