Summer Time Fun
Well, summer is now in full swing and that means we're all heading outdoors. Regardless of your personal pursuit (swimming, hiking, camping, golf, tennis, etc.), there are precautions which should be taken to prevent illness and injury. The following will give you a few tips to follow so that you can get through the summer with ease. Each section will open in a new window. To return to this page, just click on the "Back to July4th Fun" link.
Also, if the young ones are starting to get restless, check out Billy Bear. There you can print out pages for them to color. Or to learn all you ever wanted to know about watermelon, visit Watermelon.org.
And now . . . after a day filled with fun, food, family and friends, help yourself to a blanket or chair and join me as we watch the fireworks. Please note that you may be asked to allow blocked content in order to experience this applet. (You may want to maximize your window to better experience this. The song "Stars and Stripes" and feature fireworks sounds have been embedded so turn on your speakers to fully enjoy this offering.)
