Hi, I'm Stormy.  Some of you will remember me as a message board host for AOL's Web Page Community.  By now most of you know that AOL discontinued its Community Leader program.  Despite believing this a mistake on AOL's part, many of us have decided to stay on and continue to grow/strengthen the communities we helped to forge.

At Stormy's Web, you'll find tutorials, tips and tricks, free graphics and a whole lot more.  Please feel free to bookmark this page for future reference.

Please note that the free web page graphics I promised are now available.   I ask that you please read the Terms and Conditions for their use . . . a link back to this site IS required.

Also be advised that on some pages of this site you may be asked to "Allow Blocked Content" due to the particular browser you are using.  This is due to the use of some javascript links that open in new windows.  Please feel confident and accept the "Allow Blocked Content" option on your browser.

About Me:

My career has had a number of ups and downs since 2003, but the dust has hopefully settled and I am again a member of the work force as an Administrative Assistant for an engineering firm.  My web design background includes hand-coding as well as FP98-2003, WS-FTP, creating graphics animated and non-animated using Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop, and a little bit of Flash.  I've also converted at least half my site to coding using CSS.  I've been designing since March 1998 and have my own part-time web design/hosting business.  My personal sites total over 500 pages.  One of my sites, 1876 Victorian England Revisited, has received numerous awards for its design and content and is listed within the top ten positions on Google under the Keywords: Victorian England. It has also been updated to meet the W3C's standard of HTML 4.01 Strict and Section 508 accessibility.

Additional skills include MS Office, Lotus Suite, Acrobat, Swish, Quarkxpress, PageMaker and Adobe Indesign as well as others.

I hope you find designing web pages as much fun as I have. Good luck with your designing.
