We are extremely fortunate to be able to live in such a great nation. Give thanks, count your blessings, and stand proud. Know that good WILL win over evil. This Thanksgiving, and every day, give those people you see every day a great big hug and tell them how much you love them. That being said, on to some fun.

Bring up the subject of Thanksgiving and the first thing that comes to most people's minds are the Macy's Parade, food, football, a four-day weekend and the official start of the Christmas season. Thanksgiving is a time for family and for giving thanks for all that we've been given, both tangible and intangible. Through these pages I hope to capture that spirit.

For those of you who are history buffs, we will begin by taking a virtual step back in time to join the Pilgrims on their journey to America and their struggle for survival in the new world. We will go aboard the Mayflower and get to know the passengers and their family trees. From there we will continue on to food and other fun activities.
