Easter, in addition to being the most important of the celebrated Christian holidays, is the essence of springtime. The ground has finally thawed giving way to blooms of daffodils, crocuses, hyacinths, tulips and forsythia and the malls are filled with shoppers seeking new outfits for the “Easter Parade”. There’s a spirit in the air of renewed hope for the future. And of course, we mustn't forget the store aisles filled with Easter baskets in every size, shape and color, chocolate bunnies and jellybeans.
Did you know - Nearly $2.4 billion dollars was spent on Easter candy in 2016. Below are some other interesting facts:
