Hello and welcome to Holiday Manor in the heart of romantic Victorian England.

My name is Elisabeth Prescott Ashton and I want to thank you for allowing me to be your host on this journey back in time to experience Christmas in this year of 1876.  As some of you already know, the song playing in the background is Jesu, Joy of Man Desiring by Bach.

During your visit you will learn about the way we celebrate Christmas by participating in many of our holiday activities. Some of the areas that will be covered in our tour include our Christmas traditions and legends, our Christmas stories, decorating, and crafts in addition to others.
